A Zero While Sitting on a Gold Mine

I read a piece on the perceived value behind churn-and-burn courses, turned it into a skill, ran it on my own site, and got back a verdict: a zero while sitting on a gold mine.

Yesterday I read a piece about what churn-and-burn courses are actually doing—the core claim being that sales come from perceived value, not content quality. Fifteen years of teaching under my belt, just passing through, and it was so well written🥹🥹🥹. My immediate reaction was to turn it into a skill for myself, and use it to audit the structure and copy of every course I run.

No Opus 5 in sight early that morning, but seeing the results of this thing was genuinely my good fortune. I pointed that skill at my own website, and got back a verdict: a zero while sitting on a gold mine.

The gold mine is the content. The zero is how I put it on display. That’s it.
