Five Things I Never Saw Coming Two Years Ago

Five changes in myself I never saw coming two years ago: the terminal, cancelling Office 365, voice input, dispatching AI agents, and a desktop that finally got cleaned up.

Just jotting this down. A few changes in myself I never saw coming two years ago:

  1. I thought clunky interfaces like BBS were long behind me. Now I stare at a terminal and type all day.

  2. I never thought I’d cancel Office 365 one day. Now md and html have taken over from word and powerpoint.

  3. I thought I was someone who didn’t like talking. Now I sit in front of the computer and talk nonstop through voice input (Two habits for giving voice commands).

  4. I thought I was bad at managing a team. Now I send out dozens of AI agents every day and won’t let them stop even in the middle of the night. Turns out I’m a sweatshop boss.

  5. I never thought there’d come a day when my desktop and downloads folder got cleaned up.
